I am a multifaceted artist currently living and traveling on a small sailboat with my husband.
I make art in many ways. In simple terms, I am a performance artist and a weaver. But it is more than simply that. The elements of the earth move through me as I make art: I honor fire in the form of fire dancing, I kiss the sky by walking on stilts, I feel the rhythm of my ancestors through dance, I “swim” in invisible waters as a Silver Swimmer, and I transform the fibers of the earth into magical handwoven fabrics.
Making art is a ritual of being alive.
Woven into my creative life is an in depth knowledge and interest in aromatherapy and herbalism, a passion for permaculture, a love for hiking, biking, and outdoor adventures, and a new and growing love for sailing. I am also an avid student of the frame drum. I seek to live my life as the highest expression of art.
